Mark House is an international organization for youth and adults, aiming to create "the third place to be", outside school, work, and home in Japan. 

With our mission of “Connecting through Words, Knowledge, and Heart”, we hold events such as:

• Language Exchange Cafe for English speakers learning Japanese, and Japanese speakers learning English
•  "Dr. Mark's World Cafe", learning about the world and SDGs in easy English and Japanese
• "International Ibasho (place to be) Cafe", with music and dog therapy for those who have hardships in life, due to their chronic illness or life situation.

All events are held either in the home of an international couple from Australia, or at a nearby cafe located near JR Omori.

In order to have friendly and peaceful events, we kindly require that you agree with the following terms and conditions:

1.     You agree that you are attending Mark House events, activities, and services solely for the purpose of participation, not for any other purposes.

2.     You agree that we will get together to make a friendly and peaceful space for everyone at our events and activities, and that you have no intention of harming or offending others in any way, including saying or doing anything to discriminate against others.

3.     You agree that you are responsible for your own safety and security of your possessions at the events, as well as before and after the events.

4.     You agree that you will not engage in any criminal acts at the events, nor towards other participants.

5.     You agree that you will not force other participants to divulge their private contact information without their consent.

6.     You agree that you will follow the organizer’s guidance at all times when requested.

7, Smoking is prohibited inside and just outside the venue.

８，Mark House will not be responsible for any loss or damage, injuries,  accidents, or disasters, before, during, and after the events.

Please attend our events and services on your own responsibilities.
